It was lovely to hear this week that Guildford had been awarded 4 stars in the 2014 Socitm Better connected survey. The part of the report that particularly interested me was around the experience when accessing the site via a mobile device.
Just prior to Christmas we launched our missed collections reporting form on the website. Up until then missed collection reports were handled by staff in the Customer Service Centre and those that were reported before 3pm on the day of collection had to wait so the back office had time to process the paper job sheets that were returned by the crews.

We recently implemented Google Site Search on the Guildford BC website. The site already uses Bootstrap for various UI elements so it made sense to use the Typeahead component to provide autocomplete.
